Hi Kevan,
Sorry for the slow response, I've just got back from holidays and am
ploughing my way through all the emails and backlog of work.
I didn't know about fetching files using email. Looks like a good way
to go. I'm on a direct ethernet connection here at work (my computer has
it's own IP number) so I don't tend to look for other ways of 'surfing'.
I originally intended to have .txt files along with the .html files on
each page of my site however as usual I change the .html ones but forget
about the .txt ones. It's good to have feedback about any aspects of
web pages since visitors use different means of accessing them and it's
not possible to check how the information looks using each method. I
assume that in the main index.txt you'd like to see a list of
directories with their contents as well as extra index files in each
directory with the list of files in that directory. Is this the way to
go?
I've got the korg-i archives finished and will be placing them on my
site first chance I get (this week). These are nearly a complete
collection of all emails sent through korg-i from day 1.
The FAQ has a little further to go but I'll send you parts for proof
reading - thanks for offering to do it.
Take care.
Peter
